Our Inspiration
At Intentional Aroma, we're inspired by the natural beauty of the world around us. From the colors of a sunset to the scent of a blooming garden, we strive to capture the essence of these moments in our soaps and candles. We believe that candles and soaps have the power to transport you to another place or time, and we're committed to creating soaps and candles that do just that.
My love and passion into soap and candle making started as a result of wanting to spend time with my kids and granddaughter. Me and my kids love candles and soaps, so I thought it might be fun to spend some time with them and to learn a little something about the process. When I say it’s an obsession, I really mean it! We are always in the store looking and smelling candles and soaps. So after my granddaughter was born I wanted to do something the whole family would love.
Back in 2014 I was hurt at work. I torn my rotator cuff and I was diagnosed with a RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy) / CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) I thought my life was over, after 28 surgery and still no relief. I still lost all feeling in my right arm all while suffering from frozen shoulder. Was also diagnosed with chronic nerve pain, chronic depression, ptsd. 2016 I lost my mom to cancer. I went into the darkest places I have ever been. If you have experienced chronic disease, sometimes the mental health element of it can be more damaging than the disease itself. Needless to say, I was not doing well both physically and mentally. But when you’re in your darkest places, you find things out about yourself you never knew existed. I first started YouTube met some amazing people there. But it still didn’t fill the void. I miss making people smile. And 2022 my first granddaughter was born. I knew than I wanted to do something for her and with her. Which is how and where Intentional Aroma came about. She always say let me smell . So we decided to make all natural candles and soaps. So she could smell and tell me yes or no. When me and the kids get together to work everything else fades away. It just feels right. So It is RIGHT!! So while I may be dealing with some things in my life I would rather not be; making colorful, bright, and vibrant candles and soaps makes me HAPPY! And I know they will make you HAPPY. And all I want to do is share that happiness with you.

Every candle and soap we make is hand-poured with care in small batches in our studio. Our team (me and my kids) of experienced candle and soap makers takes pride in every candle and soap we produce, and we're confident that you'll be able to see and smell the difference with our all natural candles and soaps. Our soap making fragrance oil and essential oil scented candles are delightful.
